English translation

A small library wanted to organise an open day with people from the neighbourhood. The aim was for both children and adults to find something they wanted to join. At the first meeting there were many ideas, but few people knew who could help. The group therefore divided the tasks into small parts with clear people in charge. Ali would make posters, while Nora would find people who could read aloud to the children. They also planned a table where visitors could share book recommendations. If it rained, all the activities would move indoors. The day before the event they checked that everyone had received the same information. Fewer visitors came than they had hoped, but many stayed a long time and talked together. Afterwards the group noted what worked and what they wanted to do differently next time.
