English translation

When Nora wanted to put up a shelf, she discovered that she did not have a drill. She asked her neighbour, who was happy to lend her his. Afterwards they had an idea about sharing more tools in the building. At a meeting the residents talked about what they owned and often needed. Some had a ladder, while others had simple gardening equipment. They made a list everyone could read, but nobody had to lend anything. Anyone borrowing a tool would agree on when to return it. They would also ask the owner how the equipment should be used. Nora liked how the arrangement made it easier to ask for help. At the same time she understood that sharing required clear agreements and respect for other people's belongings.
