English translation

Samir and Lina felt that they were spending more on food than they had planned. They decided to examine a normal week before changing their habits. They kept the receipts and noted what was thrown away. When the week was over, they saw that small shopping trips had become rather expensive. They had also bought vegetables they did not manage to use in time. Together they made a simple plan for some dinners and a short shopping list. If they had leftovers, they would use them before making something new. The plan had to be flexible because both sometimes came home late. The following week they threw away less food and had a better overview of their purchases. They discovered that a simple overview was more useful to them than a strict plan that was difficult to follow.
